Energy Audit

An energy audit, also known as an energy assessment, is the first step to calculating how much energy your premises consume and to evaluate what measures you can take to make your building more energy efficient. An energy auditor will identify problems that may, when corrected, save you significant amounts of    money over time.

The aims of an energy audit are to:

  • calculate current energy consumption of the building so as to enhance its energy efficiency
  • identify the energy issues with regards to energy usage, electrical appliances, building design etc.
  • suggest  improvements to reduce the energy consumption
  • determine the investment cost for energy efficiency vs. how much savings can be made
  • indicate the payback period
